Биография

With his name meaning a gift of God and taken from his father’s middle name, Nathan D. Palmer, known as NaPalm, was destined for great things since birth. Nathan first began singing in the angelic choir and soon moved on to the teenage choir where vocal growth began to show. Not only did Nathan sing in the choirs at Community Missionary Baptist Church, he also played the drums for three choirs and by age 17 had become an outstanding musician playing on the organ and piano. Nathan was beginning to also blossom into a dominant three sport athlete. He excelled in basketball, track, and most of all football. Within Nathan's freshman year, he came in contact with producer/engineer K.Dawn, founder of 4 Moore Studios. K.Dawn took Nathan under her wing and helped develop his songwriting and vocal skills. By the fall of his sophomore year, Nathan had created a buzz by performing throughout the campus. In just his third year at NIU, Nathan distributed over 500 copies of his first mixtape entitled “The Offseason”. Besides "The Offseason”, Nathan had also recorded a single entitled “Vowels” that has already begun to circulate among college campuses throughout the country. He is now working on his first album due February 14, 2011 entitled "Lights Off". Nathan is no stranger to the stage either. At the young age of 20, Nathan has done numerous shows including two NIU Apollo appearances as well as opening for artists such as Omarion, Soulja Boy, Trey Songz, and Drake at NIU. With the demanding schedule that NIU football places on Nate, he still finds time to chase his lifelong passion and dream, creating music that the world will hear as well as enjoy.
