Ju wants the Music Industry to know he’s got next! Jullius Lane, a.k.a. Ju, presently of D4L/Asylum records, is steadily making himself known on the music scene. Ju is currently set to release his official "mix-tape," Interstate Trafficking, produced by DJ Scream and Swamp Izzo, November 4, 2008. Ju is also busy touring and promoting in such cities as Miami, Houston, L.A., Atlanta, St. Louis, and Long Island. He previously has opened in Europe for Snoop Dog, and is currently planning an upcoming tour in Canada projected for October. Ju is a native of the bricks of Regency Park in the city of Montgomery, Alabama, where he was strongly influenced by his mother and father as an adolescent. Ju states that his parents have had the biggest influence on his life. They’ve backed him through good and bad and have always encouraged him to strive to be the best. Setting an example for his younger brother Rick, Ju graduated St. Jude High School in 2001 after transferring from other schools for behavioral problems. He excelled in sports in which he was a member of the school’s basketball state championship team his senior year. Being a father of two, Ju is no stranger to blue collar labor. He first worked a 9-5 job before making his move into “street-hustling” in search of ways to make more money. At that point in his life, Ju befriended members of the group D4L (Down for Life) who, at that time, in 2005, were hot in the music game with the release of their hit single “Laffy Taffy.” As his affiliation with the organization D4L grew, so did his ambition, consciousness, and hustle. Ju decided to take his freestyle flair into the recording booth. The rest is history in the making. Ju says that staying focused, being himself, and keeping it 100% real will be the key to his success in the music industry. He is a strong believer in the initiative of networking and keeping good relationships in the business. That’s why his personal team consists of a tight niche of people, including manager and childhood friend P. Spears at Dream Music Mgt. and Drika (A&R). Ju’s southern swagger can be felt in his music with influences from UGK, Eight-ball and MJG, 2 Pac, Stunt-Man (D4L), Lil Boosie and Webbie, Young Jeezy, Dip-Set, and Shawty Lo (CEO of D4L). His main focus at this time is building his fan base and flooding the streets with his “mix-tape” Interstate Trafficking, which is projected to drop November 4, 2008. He also has aspirations of launching his record label Ju Records, and releasing his official freshman album; coming soon! Ссылка на эту страницу. .
