Iridium Aka Kirk Whetton, a 19 year old Producer living in Grantham, a small town in the East of England where hard sounding music is anything but existent. With a growing passion for all things hard in the music scene, Kirk continues to work in the studio, week in, week out, continuing the hobby he found many years ago at the age of 12. It was at this age he was still developing his taste for music along the harder side, it was not fully clear to him that this sort of music existed until later years. Trance music was the first genre that started a passion for him. Kirk started using small programs, such as the popular Play station MUSIC series, then moving on to the PC, Ejay. After discovering the harder side to music, Kirk aimed to start production on a professional scale and has been using a combination of FL Studio & Reason for the last 3-4 years. Having played at few clubs in the UK, he still has minimal experience behind the decks. After acquiring a pair of Pioneer CDJ 1000Mk3s, Kirk split his time into Production & DJing. Learning how to mix is not quite as hard as learning to produce but still requires a lot of time, passion & skill to excel as he has found out. His desire for the music scene is ever growing, with such enthusiasm, energy and passion behind the decks, Kirk is committed to bringing the crowd what they want, quality music and a good time!
