Canvas is an on-going recording project started by Matt Sweitzer and Chris Cobel back in 1993. We've released two albums... Avenues, a double CD from 2002, and Digital Pigeon, from 2007. Canvas is now a network of small project studios from around the country and around the world, working together. We are about to release our third CD, which will be called Long Way To Mars. Canvas Productions is an independent record label and recording studio, operated by Matt Sweitzer. Originally formed as a vehicle for the Canvas releases, we now have October Tree as part of the lineup and have made recordings for other independent artists.
