123 is: berke can özcan: drums, vocals burak ırmak: rhodes, organ feryin kaya: bass, guitar dilara sakpınar: vocals, lido organ, glockenspiel starting their musical journey back in 2004, 123, in other words "one, two, three" acquired a respectful audience despite giving a limited number of concerts. the band released their debut album "aksel" in november 2009. "aksel" includes 14 songs, the songs have a following order to tell the story of a boy named aksel, an owl and a whale. "aksel" is a cd/book with 230 pages of illustrations done 'huban korman'. in may 2010, the band released an ep named "stereo love", this ep contains 6 tracks that were recorded years ago. just before the end of 2010, 123's third album "arve" was released. "arve" has 15 songs, and it's actually the second part of the story that was started in the album "aksel". "arve" is also a cd/book with 190 pages of photography taken by 'irmak altiner'. norwegian trumpeter 'arve henriksen' is featured as a guest in one song which is called "arve". all three albums "aksel", "stereo love" and "arve" can be purchased online through mikrop gramofon's web site. they can all be purchased through itunes too. one more album entitled "anja" will be produced to end the story that was started in "aksel", but before that the band will release their fourth album "lara" in fall 2011. this band can bewilder you, it can burst you into tears or cheer you up in no time, there are various kinds of live settings that 123 offers, from soft breath vocals to big wild ride cymbals or from a rusty harmonium's dream into a valley full of loved ones. you will feel you're home. it's safe to ride with 123. listening to 123 is like moving in colors. they enhance an innovative vision where anything can happen. the three members of 123 is also known for their work in dandadadan's "sen bana birini android" (2006) and tamburada's "fantastik" (2004) albums in the past years. with these bands they played in various concerts and festivals both in turkey and europe. some of them are: berlin jazz festival, istanbul jazz festival, akbank jazz festival, simdi-now (stuttgart), rock'n coke, 0090 kunstenfestival (antwerp) and bridge to turkey festival (munich).. to download technical rider (.pdf) please click this link: 123rider to view the high resolution press photo (.jpg) please click this link: 123photo press photo by volga yildiz. web site designed by efe kaptanoğlu.
