They're three guys with different musical backgrounds and influences but with the same vision of what a great rock band should sound like. With one leg in the 60's, like The Beatles, and the other in modern american rock the band begins writing songs. After a while they get in contact with the well-known producer Peter Mansson. He loves the material and they decide to work together. After writing for a couple of months they record a few songs to get the feel of what the Treadstone sound is all about. The material turns out great and they give a sneak peak to Swedens major record labels, the interest is overwhelming. Treadstone decides to write for another 6 months to pin-point the material for a full-lenght album. In the summer of 2009 the band moves into Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg, Sweden for the making of their debut album. For 3 weeks, day and night, the best 16 songs are recorded. They bring in friends like Mats Leven (Yngwie Malmsteen, Therion etc), Eric Dubowsky (Weezer, Taylor Hawkins etc) Johan Carlsson (Carolina Liar) to add some flavour to the album. As soon as the recordings are done the band moves on to do live shows around Sweden to spread the word of what's to come. Early 2010 Treadstone signs with Scandinavian recordlabel Supernova/Cosmos Music Group. The first singel "Six Feet Under" is just released in Scandinavia and the full lenght album "A New Day Sun" in late 2010. Ссылка на эту страницу. .
