nuERA is an Orlando based hard rock band which draws its influence from many genres including metal, hip-hop, hardcore , and the dreaded nu-metal styles. They are currently finishing their first full length album titled "Dialysis" which has already seen airplay on radio stations.They have been featured on the world known ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK UPROAR TOUR, WJRR's EARTHDAY BIRTHDAY , and have won several battle of the bands shows including the Ernie Ball Best Buy Music BOTB. They have opened for several national acts including Avenged 7fold , Seether,3 Days Grace, Bullet for my Valentine, Art of Dying, Sevendust , All that Remains, Coheed and Cambria, Eye Empire, FLAW, Nonpoint , Taproot , Egypt central , Abused Romance, and Bobaflex. What makes them unique is their unwillingness to conform to standards in any one specific genre. Some say too heavy . Some say not metal enough. Some say what's with the rapper guy. Some say don't change a thing, and that's exactly what they are going to do. By themselves , the riffs heard on the album are actually quite metal-esque at times , and at other points completely lean on the nu-metal genre , which is then even more supported by the rhymes over the top. Melodic singing , hard screaming , turntable scratches , movie samples , and even president Obama can be heard here.
