Биография

FOAM are a three-piece garage rock band from Perth, WA. Their heavy live performances deliver a filthy wall of sound reminiscent of the alternative rock boom of the late 80’s/early 90’s. With influences including Nirvana, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, The Breeders and anything Steve Albini, FOAM tread the line between infectious melody and vicious punk. With a solid reputation as a strong live band, they’ve supported bands including DZ Deathrays, Bleeding Knees Club and Sleepy Sun (USA), and were the winners of the Triple J Unearthed Big Day Out competition in 2013, playing the Vans Essentials stage at Perth Big Day Out. FOAM released their debut EP ‘Sarpa Salpa’ in July 2012 and picked up national airplay on community radio stations and Triple J for the single So Far So Good. Later that year they released single Total Body Disruption in anticipation of the release of their second EP, ‘Run Kon Koma’. 2013 saw them embark on their first national tour, playing shows across the belly of the country and culminating in support shows on the east coast with Wax Witches and Step Panther. Shortly after returning, ‘Run Kon Koma’ was launched at The Bird in Northbridge to a capacity crowd, with the first prints of the EP quickly selling out. FOAM are on a journey of endless self-exploitation, catch them in May when they support The Rubens in Bunbury May 2nd (Prince of Wales) and Perth May 3rd (Capitol). Ссылка на эту страницу. .
