Eros is a 3 piece progressive psychedelic rock band from Orange NSW, formed in May 2012. The Eros line up is Ray Vanderby keyboards, guitar, lead vocals - Jon Carter bass, backing vocals - Steve Dickie drums. Classical composers Mussorgsky, Grieg, Bach, Debussy and the Counterculture, Beat and Hippie Generations of the 60s and 70s are part of the band's influence and inspiration. The album NO DESOLATION was recorded almost live in the studio and represents the band's live show. TRIPSVILLE single/video release 2nd Feb 2013 NO DESOLATION album release 2nd Feb 2013 Eros was originally formed by Ray Vanderby when jam sessions took place in a shearing shed and at the Old Canobolas Hall in Orange in 1968. Eros won the western heat of the Hoadleys National Battle of the Sounds Competition at Bathurst in 1972 in front of 900 screaming fans and came 2nd in the western final at Orange prior to moving to Sydney where they toured the Sydney scene up until their breakup in 1973. http://www.godoferos.com Ссылка на эту страницу. .
