Ascendant is Heavy Metal Band from UAE Dubai, Formed in 2012. Ascendant was formed in late 2012 by Alaa, Puneet and Ashish. Right from the beginning, the members had a clear vision for the band - to play exactly the sort of music they loved. Pure, powerful and high quality heavy metal about topics that mattered to them. For several months, the band auditioned multiple drummers trying to find the best possible fit - and they found exactly that with Aram. The entry of the very talented Youmni on vocals cemented the line up. With an emphasis on playing original material, Ascendant has taken the UAE metal scene by storm after just a handful of shows. All the band members are experienced musicians with several projects behind them. Their synergy is obvious and is manifested in their electrifying live performances and songs which are instantly catchy and unapologetically powerful.
